Today I'm jumping to Prompt Four (because I can), which is Insurgency. Here's ten resistance groups that can be used in Sprawl Goons: Upgraded or your cyberpunk game of choice.
Urban Resistance Cells
- The Static Choir: Broadcast anti-corp sermons through hijacked frequencies; half are AI loops of dead journalists.
- Chrome Communion: Augmented workers who turned their factory implants into weapons.
- The Neon Union: Former city maintenance crews running guerrilla infrastructure wars.
- Ghost Circuit: Netrunners uploading subversive memetics into public entertainment feeds.
- The Fallow Syndicate: Ex-corporate agronomists sabotaging vertical farms to free food production.
- Streetlight Children: Mutated orphans and cloned kids in the underlevels, armed with slingshots and bioweapons.
- Electric Saints: A cult of hacktivists who see Black ICE as angels of digital judgment.
- The Downtimers: Refuse implants, refuse the net; militant anti-cyberpunk Luddites living on the edge of the Combat Zone.
- The Dripfeed Militia: Media workers gone rogue, manipulating public feeds against the corps.
- Black Rain: Ex-corporate mercs turned eco-terrorists, armed with clouds of drones.
